Privacy Notice

Effective August 31, 2026

Overview

Huvver provides a bundle of focused planning apps. This notice explains what information Huvver collects, why it is used, when service providers process it, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

  • Account information: your name, email address, authentication identifiers, preferences, and account status.
  • Content you create: trips, itineraries, places, notes, dates, map locations, collaborators, templates, subscriptions, expenses, RoadRoster program rosters, traveling parties, operational contacts, approvals, budgets, audit history, and other information you choose to save.
  • Billing information: subscription, transaction, and entitlement status from Stripe or Apple, depending on where you subscribe. Huvver does not receive or store your complete payment-card number.
  • Usage and device information: product actions, page context, browser and device category, timestamps, and diagnostic information used to operate and improve Huvver.
  • Support information: feedback and messages you deliberately send to Huvver, including RoadRoster pilot requests with your work contact information, organization, role, and optional workflow details.

AI itinerary planning, reviews, and questions

TripBoard offers optional AI planning when you create a trip, AI review for an existing itinerary, and answers to questions about your trip. These run only when requested. Huvver sends only the information needed for the feature you request to OpenAI through its API.

For AI planning, this can include the trip name, description, dates, timezone, selected destination names, addresses and coordinates, and the pace, party, interests, priorities, typical day times, and optional guidance you provide. Collaborator email addresses are not sent. Suggested places may be sent to Geoapify to resolve their map locations before the itinerary is saved. Huvver removes detected phone numbers, email addresses, web links, and booking or confirmation references from planning text before it is sent.

For AI review and trip questions, Huvver first calculates schedule and cached travel facts locally. The snapshot can include:

  • Trip and day titles, scheduled place names, addresses or coordinates, dates, times, durations, travel modes, and calculated travel facts.
  • Review preferences such as pace, party size and type, priorities, interests, typical day times, places that must remain fixed, and the questions or optional guidance you enter.
  • Planning estimates and place notes only when explicitly included. Trip questions exclude planning estimates and include place notes only when you opt in.

Trip questions use the current saved itinerary, not a conversation history. Questions and answers are saved with the trip and can be read by its collaborators. AI answers may use general travel knowledge; live web search is not used.

Huvver excludes travelers, collaborators, the expense ledger, splits, settlements, and estimates linked to actual expenses. It also removes detected phone numbers, email addresses, web links, and booking or confirmation references from included text, including optional guidance. Do not put highly sensitive information in trip titles, place names, addresses, notes, or review guidance.

Huvver asks OpenAI not to retain the response as application state. OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models by default unless the API customer opts in, and that abuse-monitoring logs may be retained for up to 30 days. See OpenAI's API data controls.

Huvver stores generated plans or reviews, selected preferences, request status, model name, token counts, and estimated cost. Generated plans become ordinary editable TripBoard content. This information lets Huvver provide the feature, safely apply review suggestions, and monitor reliability and cost.

How we use information

  • Provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Huvver and its apps.
  • Authenticate accounts and enforce subscriptions and app access.
  • Enable collaboration, sharing, maps, routes, email invitations, and billing.
  • Respond to support requests and understand product usage.
  • Detect misuse, protect users, and comply with legal obligations.

Service providers

Huvver uses service providers to operate the product. Depending on the feature, information may be processed by Supabase for authentication and data hosting, Stripe or Apple for billing, Resend for transactional email, Geoapify for place search and routing, Unsplash and logo.dev for images, and OpenAI for requested AI itinerary planning, reviews, and trip questions. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments.

Sharing and collaboration

People you invite can see information available to their role. Anyone with an active public share or template link may be able to view the projected content at that link. Review sharing settings before distributing a link. Huvver does not sell personal information.

Retention and deletion

Huvver keeps account and app information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, maintain security, and meet legal or financial obligations. You can permanently delete your Huvver account from Account Settings in the iOS app or from the web account page. Deletion immediately ends any Huvver.com subscription. An App Store subscription is not canceled by deleting Huvver and must be managed separately through Apple. Independent copies that another user created from a template remain part of that user's account. Account-linked feedback is deleted, and retained product metrics are stripped of account and user identifiers.

Your choices

  • AI itinerary planning and review are optional and never run automatically.
  • Notes and planning estimates are excluded from AI review by default, and additional guidance is optional.
  • You can manage collaborators, disable share links, and unpublish templates.
  • You can update account details or permanently delete your account.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of your personal information, and to restrict or object to certain processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting earlier processing. Huvver will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

Send a request to support@huvver.com. Huvver may need to verify your identity and authority before acting on a request. You may also have the right to appeal a response or complain to the privacy or data-protection authority where you live.

Security, children, and changes

Huvver uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Huvver is not directed to children under 13. We may update this notice as the product or legal requirements change; the effective date above will show the latest revision.
